Have you signed up for the Annual Conference yet? Did you know that it is taking place in the Don CeSar Hotel in St. Petersburg, Florida? Yes, the Big Pink Hotel -- that is the one. The deadline to sign up is officially November 18, but you may be able to be squeezed in if there are any last minute cancellations -- it never hurts to ask.
It is not too late to sign up -- just go to www.regonline.com/HHA2007 to register, or check with Dan Duggan at the HHA offices.
Oh, yes -- it starts with a welcome reception on Tuesday November 27, and finishes with a flourish on November 30
It is a very exciting time for all of us in HHA, because we recently signed an agreement to have HHA become an associated program of Preferred Hotels. I can't wait to learn more.
Best of all, there is a golf outing on the Friday after the conference ends. Since I am a die-hard golfer, I will be certain to be part of that. After all, all work and no play makes for a stressed GM and that is NOT a good thing. Just ask my staff.
(If you are not a golfer, what good are you? Wait a minutet, that isn't exactly what I meant. If you prefer, there is a deep-sea fishing excursion for you if you prefer not to golf.)
I hope to see you there. Oh, by the way, I will be blogging about all the activities at the conference, so if you can't make it, stay tuned right here. I'll try to give you the flavor of the sessions as they happen.
