If you have not been living under a rock, you will already know that HHA is now part of the Preferred Hotel Group, as a new 'brand' under this umbrella. We are still a part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, but Preferred is providing some terrific new leverage for the members of Historic Hotels.
In these photos, you will see, top to bottom: Thierry Roch, Executive Director of Historic Hotels with Lindsey Ueberroth, V.P. Brand Development, Preferred Hotels.
The third photo (which I purposefully shot in this angle) is of John Ueberroth, President of Preferred Hotels, who has turned our world a bit on an upward spin by acquiring the brand of HHA -- a move which we find so very exciting, with aworld of great prospects. Also in this photo is John Irwin, Co-chair of the Membership Committee for HHA, as well as G.M. of The Otesaga Hotel in New York, and Tracey Simmons, Membership Director for HHA.
If you are not already an active member of HHA's committees, I would strongly encourage you to consider joining one of them. These committees do important work, but more importantly they help to keep you, as a member more involved and therefore more connected to this terrific organization.
